Man found shot to death in Greenville neighborhood

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a Greenville neighborhood.

The Greenville County Coroner’s Office says 20-year-old Ryan Williams was shot at least once and died at Greenville Memorial Hospital at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Deputies say a neighbor called authorities and reported a gunshot, went outside and found a wounded man in the yard.

Deputy Coroner Kent Dill says Williams was probably shot before he got to the yard.

The death is being investigated as a homicide. Authorities do not yet know of a motive and are still looking for suspects.
