After a press conference with Guatemala’s president Monday, VP Harris visiting Mexico Tuesday

CNN– Vice President Kamala Harris is in Mexico Tuesday, meeting with the country’s president. According to the Vice President’s Office, the trip is a fact finding mission to try and figure out how best to fundamentally address the root causes of migration, and why so many migrants have been headed to the U.S. southern border.

On Monday, Harris held a press conference with Guatemala’s president, where she gave a warning to Guatemalans who want to migrate to the U.S. Mexico’s president said he does expect to sign some deals with Vice President Harris, including deals about development and migration.
