One man found dead from shooting on Groover Circle in Cayce

CAYCE, S.C. (WOLO) – The Cayce Department of Public Safety says one man was killed after an early morning shooting on Monday.

Authorities say at approximately 3:40 a.m., they received a 911 call about an unresponsive male in a vehicle on Groover Circle.

According to investigators, within minutes of arriving on the scene, they found the victim dead with a gunshot wound.

The State Law Enforcement Division and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office are investigating on scene.
