President Biden making case for infrastructure plan on Capitol Hill

CNN– Wednesday, President Joe Biden is making the case for his infrastructure plan. Biden is heading to Capitol Hill for the Senate Democratic lunch. Democrats on the Senate Budget Committee are close to a deal for a $3.5 trillion resolution.

It would be passed without Republican support and include some of the more progressive items on Biden’s agenda, like expanding the child tax credit, paid medical leave, family leave and changing the U.S. tax code.

This resolution is in addition to the current bipartisan deal already on the table.
