Bikers bringing gifts to MUSC, elves distribute
CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Bikers from Boeing are making the holidays a bit brighter for some sick children.
Members of the Boeing Motorcycle Club on Thursday deliver gifts to the Medical University of South Carolina Children’s Hospital in Charleston for 10 kids who are suffering from sickle cell disease.
Staffers portraying elves and Santa are distributing the gifts.
Boeing opened its new $750 million aircraft assembly plant in North Charleston last summer. The plant is the biggest single industrial investment in South Carolina history.
