Latest climate report says this summer tied the Dust Bowl for the hottest on record

CNN– We know this summer was a hot one, but we now know it was the hottest on record in the U.S. According to the latest climate report, the summer of 2021 tied the Dust Bowl in summer of 1936 for hottest on record.

The average temperature between June 1-August 31 was 2.6 degrees above the 20th century average. More than 18% of the country experienced record warm temperatures this summer.
