Man died after being shot in Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) — Myrtle Beach police are investigating the shooting death of a man found on a city sidewalk.

Twenty-nine-year-old Michael Brown of Myrtle Beach was found unconscious shortly after 4 p.m. Sunday. He was taken to Grand Strand Regional medical Center where he died.

Police Capt. David Knipes said there is little information about the shooting. No arrests have been reported.

Horry County Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard said an autopsy is scheduled Monday.
