3 Rock Hill women arrested in home invasion

ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) — Three Rock Hill women have been arrested in connection with a home invasion earlier this year.

The Herald of Rock Hill reported (http://bit.ly/v2pIoU) the women were arrested earlier this week in a May 23 attack in which a woman was raped and a man was assaulted. Police say the thieves took money, two flat-screen televisions and two cell phones.

Twenty-one-year-old Kearanee Chadron Brewton, 21-year-old Marianna Sheree Howard and 20-year-old Ashley Nicole Nelson are charged with armed robbery, burglary, kidnapping and criminal conspiracy. It wasn’t clear if they have attorneys.

Police say two women knocked on the door of a house saying their car had broken down. Police say two men followed the women into the house and attacked the victims.

A Timmonsville man was arrested last month.
