Police officers respond to bomb threat in Sumter Mall area

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– UPDATE: The Sumter Police Department says there was no threat found, and entranceways are reopening.

The Sumter Police Department says officers are responding to the Sumter Mall area after a bomb threat was called into a business.

Officers say entraceways are currently restricted until the area is determined to be safe for normal operations.
