Suspected Rapist on the Loose

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Lexington County deputies say they are looking for 50-year-old Roger Lee, also known as Dennis Lee. Lee is accused of beating and sexually assaulting a West Columbia woman June 11. Authorities say Lee is driving a black 1995 Ford Ranger pickup and using two state license plate numbers interchangeably to elude police. The license plates are: 795RXH and BIU677. They say Lee met the West Columbia woman via a telephone/voicemail dating site. The two met face to face at the victim’s home, say police, where the woman was then tied up with extension cords, beaten and threatened to be killed if she called authorities.
