N. Charleston’s Summey gives state of city address
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — North Charleston Mayor Keith Summey is scheduled to deliver his annual state of the city address to residents of South Carolina’s third-largest city.
Summey’s address is set for Thursday evening before members of the city council. The address is also being streamed on the Internet.
Summey won a fifth term as mayor back in November. Last July, Boeing opened its new aircraft assembly plant in the city. The $750 million plant is the largest industrial investment in South Carolina history.
