Black Market at SC State highlights Black owned businesses

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– South Carolina State University kicked off their Black History Month celebrations today. The Student Government hosted the Black Market festival event on the Student Plaza.

Students got to enjoy exhibits, vendors and booths. Organizers say it is a way to highlight Black owned businesses in the community.

This is the sixth year for the event hosted during Black History Month.
