DHEC: Hospitalizations dropping this month

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control says the number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients is dropping this month. They reported a 23% decrease in COVID-19 positive patients admitted in just the past week.

There’s also a 27% decrease in coronavirus patients needing to be ventilated, and the number of COVID-19 patients in the ICU is down by 16%.
