Holloman Charged with DUI

COLUMBIA (WOLO) – USC football player DeVonte Holloman was arrested at a safety checkpoint in Downtown Columbia Saturday night. Mulitple news sources have reported that the 20-year-old was charged with a DUI. It took place at the intersection of George Rogers Blvd and Bluff Road near Williams-Brice Stadium. Holloman plays strong safety for the Gamecocks and is considered to be a starter in the upcoming season. The junior played in 14 games last year. USC officials say it won’t comment on the details, but did say it is their policy to suspend any player after an arrest.
