Teacher on leave after playing “Jackass 2” movie

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (AP) — A teacher at Wando High School in Mount Pleasant has been placed on administrative leave after playing a segment of the movie “Jackass 2” in class.

A police report says 36-year-old sociology teacher Christopher Derek Poston was placed on administrative leave Feb. 15 after a student’s parent emailed the school about the incident.

Poston told police he started watching the movie while students worked. When students asked what he was watching, he told them and showed the film on the classroom smart board.

Poston said the movie played for about three minutes before he took it down because it was becoming increasingly inappropriate.
