Spartanburg sheriff’s office to host K-9 training
SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) — The Spartanburg Sheriff’s Office is hosting a training seminar for law enforcement dog teams.
Organizers say 20 teams of patrol dogs and handlers are attending the Southeast Regional Training Seminar that gets under way Thursday.
Deputies say participating teams will be given a safety briefing and itinerary before the two-day conference begins. Activities include teaching effective ways to use police dogs to help apprehend suspects.
