Firefighters respond to 2-alarm apartment fire

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– Nearly 50 firefighters responded to a two alarm fire this evening at a Midlands apartment complex.
A spokesperson for the Columbia Fire Department says crews responded to Columbia Garden Apartments on Plowden Rd. around 7:40 Friday evening.

Officials say 15 people were displaced.
So far there have not been any reports of injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
