Decker Blvd. to Get $150,000 Facelift
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — A much needed facelift is headed to Northeast Columbia. Business along Decker Boulevard can apply now for a facade improvement grant to beautify the area. Richland County is granting $150 thousand to qualified business owners to make beautification touches to their facility. The money is earmarked for improvements to windows, doors, awnings, signs, lighting, minor masonry/carpentry repairs, painting and other modifications. County officials say the touch-ups are necessary to keep existing businesses on Decker and attract new ones. For more information on how to apply for a commercial facade improvement grant, contact Monique McDaniels, neighborhood planner with Richland County, at 803-576-1340, or mcdaniels@rcgov.us.
