2 men missing from boat on lake near Hartsville

HARTSVILLE, S.C. (AP) — Crews are searching for a second day for two men missing in a Darlington County lake.

Authorities say the men were on a pontoon boat on Lake Robinson near Hartsville around 7 p.m. Friday when one of them jumped or fell in the water and never came up.

Department of Natural Resources officials say the second man jumped in to try and save him, but also did not resurface.

Dive teams looked for the men for a while Friday night, then returned to the lake Saturday morning.

The names of the missing men have not been released.
