Bojangles’ honors the Midlands best teachers

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Bojangles’ restaurants are honoring the Midlands best teachers with a reception.

The fast food restaurant chain will honor nine the teachers of the year Wednesday afternoon at its Columbia location on Elmwood Drive near downtown Columbia.

The company is also donating dozens of books to each teacher’s school.

The teachers honored are from Kershaw County, Richland 1, Richland 2, Aiken County, Barnwell 19, Barnwell 29, Fairfield County, Lexington-Richland 5, and the state Department of Juvenile Justice.
