T-shirts sold in honor of fallen Aiken officers

AIKEN, S.C. (AP) — The husbands and wives of Aiken’s police officers are selling T-shirts so they can send members of the force to Washington, D.C., to honor two of their officers killed in the line of duty.

The Aiken Standard (http://bit.ly/H0PbY4) reports the T-shirts are $20 and will be sold online as well as at the H. Odell Weeks Activities Center in Aiken on Sunday afternoon.

The money from the “We Go On” shirts will go toward sending Aiken Public Safety’s Honor Guard and other officers to Washington for National Police Week.

The officers would honor Scotty Richardson, who was shot and killed in December, and Sandy Rogers, shot and killed in January.
