Police: Man Killed Brother in Darlington County

DARLINGTON, S.C. (AP) _ Darlington County deputies have charged the 50-year-old brother in a well-known barbecue making family with shooting his sibling to death nearly a year ago. Investigators say Eugene Gardner III was arrested Friday. Authorities say 43-year-old Richard Gardner was found dead in June at his Darlington County home, which was also known locally as Skeet’s Bar-B-Q. Eugene Gardner was being held at the Darlington County jail. It wasn’t clear if he has an attorney.
