Spanish featured at Columbia Int’l Festival

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — People in the Columbia area have an opportunity to travel around the world without even leaving town.

The 17th Annual Columbia International Festival is scheduled to get under way Saturday at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds.

The weekend event features more than 60 national exhibits and this year spotlights Spanish-speaking countries.

There will be opportunities to taste foods from around the world and to shop for unique gifts.
