Affordable Housing expo scheduled for Grand Strand

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) — Realtors, banks and government agencies are holding an exposition in South Carolina to teach would-be home buyers about affordable housing.

The event scheduled for Tuesday in Myrtle Beach is sponsored by the Horry County Housing Commission and the Coastal Carolinas Association of Realtors.

Lenders will be able to discuss financing options while a representative of the South Carolina Fair Housing Authority is scheduled to speak. There will also be help for people who may need assistance in paying for a mortgage.
