Bond denied for third suspect arrested in connection with Columbiana Centre shooting
COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– In court today, a judge denied bond for Amari Sincere-Jamal Smith, the third man charged in connection with this weekend’s shooting incident at the Columbiana Centre.
Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook said at least 15 injuries were reported, with nine victims shot and six victims being injured while trying to escape the shooting. Smith is charged with nine counts of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, attempted murder and unlawful carrying of a handgun.
Three suspects have been arrested for this shooting. A judge previously denied bond for Jewayne Price and Marquise Robinson., who face the same charges as Smith. Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from an ongoing conflict between the three suspects.
All three are being held at the Lexington County Detention Center.
Price and Robinson were both denied bond.
