(WOLO) SUMTER COUNTY, S.C., — It’s been a year long investigation that hasn’t produced any eyewitnesses, motives or suspects. Yet, Authorities in Sumter County say what they do have is a lead they hope will bring them closer to bring the suspect in this case to justice. Family members hope so as well. Dozens of them gathered Tuesday night to honor Epps’ memory, and send a message that they will not rest until the people responsible are behind bars. Epps’s fiancee’ and mother of his two small children, Krystle Skinner says she still can’t believe they’re ten year relationship came to an end with the discovery of his body in an abandoned trailer, his charred truck found just a short distance away. While time has passed, those who attended Tuesday memorial say the pain is still very fresh and they won’t rest until the people responsible are behind bars. Sumter County Sheriff Anthony Dennis says the Department is willing to dedicate every resource they have to the continued investigation in order to make that happen. Authorities are asking anyone who may have seen something to make an anonymous tip by calling police at 1888-CRIME-SC.
