Barnwell man found with cocaine and $634,000

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Federal prosecutors say a 32-year-old Barnwell man who was found with cocaine, guns and more than $600,000 in cash during an arrest last month has been indicted.

Authorities said Tuesday that Terrance Wiggins is charged with conspiring to distribute at least 5 kilograms of cocaine and faces 15 years to life in prison if convicted.

Prosecutors say Wiggins was arrested on March 28 after several years of investigation. Officers found two rifles, a pistol and a shotgun as well as $634,000 in cash.

Wiggins’ lawyer could not be reached after business hours Tuesday.
