USC business school honors alumni, supporter

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — The Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina is honoring three alumni and a major supporter at its annual gala.

Thursday evening’s event is scheduled for Carolina Coliseum in Columbia.

The event honors alumni James Samples, president of Scripps Networks Interactive, Thack Brown, senior vice president of SAP Latin America and the Caribbean, and Raphael Miolane, chief financial officer for Yum! Restaurants International in France and Spain.

The school’s distinguished service award is being presented to AT&T South Carolina president Pamela Lackey
