Man found shot to death in home near Columbia mall

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — A man has been shot to death at a home near Columbia Mall.

Richland County deputies say officers checking on a call about shots fired around 4 p.m. Friday found a 25-year-old man dead in the home. He was been shot in the chest.

Investigators released few details about the case, but say deputies want to talk to the driver of a white Ford Crown Victoria with writing on the back window seen leaving the area around the time of the shooting.

The name of the victim has not been released.
