Man dies after being found shot in Rock Hill

ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) — Police are investigating a how a man ended up shot to death in the middle of a Rock Hill street.

Authorities said officers responding to a call about shots fired around midnight Friday found a 32-year-old man wounded. He died a short time later at the hospital, and his name has not been released.

Investigators are following up on several leads from people in the neighborhood, but no suspect has been identified.

Authorities say this is the second homicide in Rock Hill this year.
