Gamecocks Move Up in Polls

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The South Carolina baseball team jumped in this weeks national polls. The Gamecocks (30-11, 11-7 SEC) bounce up three spots from eight to five in this weeks ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll. South Carolina moves from nine to seven in the Baseball America poll, and rise from 13 to seven in Collegiate Baseball’s rankings. The Gamecocks are back in action on Thursday as it begins a three game set with Alabama. Thursday’s game starts at 7:30pm at Carolina Stadium and can be seen on television on ESPNU.
