4 arrested in Marion County shooting death

MARION, S.C. (AP) — Marion County sheriff’s deputies have arrested four people in a shooting death last month.

Deputies were called to a home April 13 and found 31-year-old Christian Drawhorn had been shot twice. He died at Marion County Regional Hospital.

Deputies arrested 21-year-old Shaheed Hayes of Latta and a teen from Dillon on Tuesday and charged them with murder, attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and firing a gun into a home.

Two Latta men, 25-year-old Willie O’Brian Bethea and 20-year-old Blaton Wakeem Smith, were arrested on the same charges Monday.

Bethea, Smith and the teen are being held in the Marion County jail. Hayes is being held at the Dillon County jail.

It was not clear if the men have attorneys.
