Suspect accused of shooting 4 in Pageland captured after 10-hour manhunt

PAGELAND, SC (WSOC) — Overnight, authorities asked people in the area off Highway 151 to stay inside until the search for Rashawn Little was over. Police took Little into custody shortly before 6 a.m. Deputies had been searching for him since around 8:30 p.m. Sunday. That‘s when they said Little shot four people, killing 33-year-old Shannon Little, on Evans Mill Road. Officials also said Rashawn Little fired shots at deputies. Law enforcement used helicopters and K-9s as they searched a wooded area they believed he was hiding in throughout the night. Channel 9 was there when authorities towed a Cadillac from the scene around 3:30 a.m. but deputies have not confirmed if or how that car is involved in the investigation.
