Earthquake reported near Elgin

KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – According to the United States Geological Survey, an earthquake struck near Elgin.

The earthquake happened at 8:42 p.m. on Sunday, July 24th.

USGS report shows the earthquake was a 2.3 magnitude and was centered 3.2 miles east south east of Elgin.
