Carolina-Clemson Blood Drive Enters its Final Day
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The 31st Annual Carolina-Clemson Blood Drive enters its final day today at the University of South Carolina campus. Students, alumni and fans are invited to roll up a sleeve and vote for the team of their choice — Carolina or Clemson. In addition to showing their school spirit, donors will help out the Red Cross at an important time of year. The drive comes at the start of the holiday season when blood donations typically decrease. Over the past three decades of competition, the universities have collected about 100,000 pints of blood. Donate blood at the Russell House, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Greek Village, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. No appointments are necessary. All presenting blood donors will receive a commemorative blood drive T-shirt, while supplies last.
