Authorities looking for inmate after escape in Florence

FLORENCE, S.C. (WOLO) — The S.C. Department of Corrections is looking for an inmate who walked away from Palmer Pre-Release center in Florence around 8 p.m. Sunday. The inmate, 26-year-old Seth Allen Grooms, was serving a five-year sentence for second degree burglary. Grooms is 5’10” and weighs 215 pounds. He has a tribal skull/dream catcher tattoo on his left arm. There is a reward available for information leading to his apprehension.
