1 found dead in Horry County fire

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) — Horry County police are investigating a death in a house fire.

Firefighters were called late Monday afternoon and found a body in the wreckage.

An autopsy is planned to determine the cause of death.

Authorities say the name of the victim and other details will be released once the autopsy is conducted.
