Cam Gaskins joined the ABC Columbia Sports team in August of 2019 as an Anchor/Reporter.
He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2017 with a degree in Digital Broadcast Journalism and a certificate in Sports Media.
He previously worked for WGXA in Macon, GA where he covered everything from the Mercer Bears to the Macon Bacon. He also covered the Georgia Bulldogs in the 2018 SEC Championship Game.
Cam was born and raised in Georgia, and grew up cheering for the Braves and Falcons. Now he’s excited to call the Palmetto State home and cover all the great sports here in the Midlands.
In his free time, Cam loves watching a good movie, hiking, finding a new restaurant, and trying to break 100 on the golf course.

The win puts Coastal at 2-2 on the season and extends the Chanticleers’ winning streak to six-straight over Wake Forest.
Monday night, several high school basketball teams from the midlands took the court to start their quest for a state championship.
The split puts Coastal at 1-2 on the season. Duke ended the weekend at 2-1.
Offensively, the Chants mustered just four runs on three hits led by junior Nick Lucky going 2-for-3 with a home run and two runs scored.
