Chaz Frazier
Sports Director
Chaz Frazier leads the ABC Columbia Sports Department after being promoted to Sports Director in July of 2024.
He originally joined the sports team as the Weekend Sports Anchor in August of 2022. Before joining ABC Columbia, Chaz had stops in Fort Wayne, IN and Peoria, IL covering sports.
Chaz is a long way away from home as he was born and raised in Southern California.
He attended the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications where he received his B.A. in Sports Broadcast Journalism.
Chaz takes great pride in covering the passionate and very competitive sports scene in the Palmetto State.
When he isn’t covering South Carolina and Clemson athletics, Chaz enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, traveling with family, and attending his local church.
