Citadel says it should have pursued abuse report

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Citadel president John Rosa says the Charleston military college has lost public trust because of the way it handled reports of sex abuse four years ago. And he says the school is bringing in an outside company to review the procedures in handling such situations with an eye toward making improvements.

High Speed Chase

CAMDEN, S.C. (AP) _ Authorities say a Greenville man is in jail after leading Kershaw County sheriff’s deputies on a high-speed chase.
Sheriff Jim Matthews said 22-year-old Joshua Damien Boyter was being held in the Kershaw County jail Monday for failing to stop for officers.
