Gallagher unofficially received 36 percent of the vote Tuesday night making her the biggest vote getter in the primary. She will most likely face either Tom Thompson or Rep. Jerry Govan in the June 24 runoff.

Early returns show the 57-year-old Weathers winning Tuesday’s Republican primary with 64 percent of the vote over Joe Farmer.
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Richland County Council member Joyce Dickerson has won South Carolina’s Democratic primary to face U.S. Sen. Tim Scott.
Early returns showed the 68-year-old Dickerson winning Tuesday’s primary with 67 percent of the vote over former York County Council member Sidney Moore and Myrtle Beach attorney Harry Pavilack.
