Clemson earns 4 seed in ACC Tournament
Clemson University men’s basketball officially is slotted in as the No. 4 seed at next week’s ACC Tournament in Brooklyn, N.Y. Clemson will receive a double-bye into the quarterfinals of the tournament and will play on Thursday, March 8 at 2 p.m.
Gamecocks slotted as 11 seed in SEC Tourney
South Carolina (16-15, 7-11 SEC) will be the No. 11 seed in next week’s 2018 SEC Tournament in St. Louis, Mo., and will face 14th-seeded Ole Miss (12-19, 5-13 SEC) on Wednesday night at approximately 9:30 p.m. ET, at the Scottrade Center.

Clemson University men’s basketball fell in its final game of the regular season at Syracuse 55-52 on Saturday afternoon.
South Carolina falls at No. 14 Auburn
South Carolina (16-15, 7-11 SEC) concluded the regular season on Saturday, suffering a 79-70 loss on the road at No. 14/15 Auburn (25-6, 13-5 SEC). Graduate transfer guard Frank Booker led the Gamecocks with the first double-double of his career, posting a team and career high 27 points to go along with 10 rebounds in the loss.
Clemson evens series with Carolina in Greenville
Brooks Crawford, Mat Clark and Ryan Miller combined to allow just one run in No. 7 Clemson’s 5-1 win over No. 23 South Carolina at Fluor Field on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers, who evened the series 1-1, improved to 9-1, while the Gamecocks dropped to 7-4.
Wilson Makes Wooden Award National Ballot
South Carolina senior forward A’ja Wilson earned a spot on the 2018 National Ballot for the John R. Wooden Award Presented by Wendy’s, the Los Angeles Athletic Club announced Saturday.
