The Charlotte Sports Foundation (CSF) today announced it has secured the University of South Carolina to play North Carolina State University in the 2017 Belk College Kickoff Game in Charlotte. The Gamecocks, from the Southeastern Conference, will face off against the Wolfpack, from the Atlantic Coast Conference, in September, 2017 at Bank of America Stadium. The kick off time and ticket information will be announced at a later date.
CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Deshaun Watson passed for three touchdowns and a season-best 420 yards and No. 5 Clemson rolled against Boston College’s top-ranked defense for a 34-17 victory Saturday night.
The University of South Carolina football team will have a noon Eastern time (11 am local) kick when they travel to College Station for the first time in school history, to face the Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday, October 31.
Clemson will kick off at NC State at noon on Halloween. The ACC made the announcement Monday. The game will air on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.
South Carolina women’s basketball head coach Dawn Staley announced today that her team will host “The Pre-Show Party” presented by All South Federal Credit Union on Wed., Oct. 28, at 6:30 p.m. at Colonial Life Arena. Free for all fans, the event will include an opportunity for fans to pick up or purchase season tickets, an autograph session exclusively for new and returning season-ticket holders, a season preview from Staley and a live painting performance from Jared Emerson.
