The 2015 edition of South Carolina Football worked out at its practice fields for about two hours Tuesday morning in helmets and shorts as the preseason fall camp officially got underway in Columbia.

Clemson Men’s Soccer Ranked 11th
The Clemson men’s soccer team is ranked 11th in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Preseason Poll, released earlier today. This is the team’s highest preseason ranking since 2006, when it was ranked sixth.
Clemson Women’s Soccer Ranked 22nd
The Clemson women’s soccer team is ranked No. 22 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Preseason poll, as announced on Monday afternoon. This is Clemson’s first appearance in the preseason poll since 2007 when the Tigers were ranked 19th.
USC Women’s Soccer Ranked 11th
South Carolina women’s soccer will open the 2015 season ranked No. 11 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll. It is the program’s highest preseason ranking by the NSCAA, topping the previous best of No. 12 to start the 2010 season.
Blowfish Heading to the Playoffs
Combined with losses by the Martinsville Mustangs and High Point-Thomasville HiToms, and with a win of their own, the Lexington County Blowfish will be headed to the Petitt Cup Playoffs in 2015 after splitting a doubleheader with the Forest City Owls. Forest City took game one 7-3, and the Blowfish walked off in game two, winning 5-4 in eight innings.

The High School League staff finalized the realignment proposal for all schools beginning with the 2016-17 school year. This alignment will be in effect for two years (2016-2018).
USC Basketball to Face St. Johns in 2015
The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced on Monday that South Carolina will play St. John’s as part of the organization’s Hall of Fame Shootout on Tuesday, Dec. 22, at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. Marist and Brown will also play each other as part of the event.
