DJ Paired With Spieth At British Open

Former Dutch Fork High School standout Dustin Johnson will tee off the British Open in the same group as the guy he lost the U.S. Open last month. Johnson, Jordan Spieth and Hideki Matsuyama will tee off the opening round at St. Andrews at 4:33 a.m. ET Thursday.

Gamecocks Offer Football Ticket Options

University of South Carolina Athletics announced today the Flex Mini Plan for the 2015 Gamecock football season, which allows fans to create their own package. This new option includes a ticket to LSU OR Florida plus two or more other games from a selected list and starts at only $150. The Flex Mini Plan will go on sale exclusively to members of the Gamecock Club and University of South Carolina faculty and staff on Mon., July 27, at 10 a.m. (ET) with sales then opening to the general public on Mon., Aug. 3.

NeSmith Wins Players Amateur

South Carolina rising senior Matt NeSmith sank a 20-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole on Sunday at Berkeley Hall Club to win the Players Amateur by a stroke with a 72-hole total of 271 (-13).

Braves Drop Four Straight To Rockies

Troy Tulowitzki homered a day after being named to his fifth NL squad, Charlie Blackmon had three hits and drove in four runs and the Colorado Rockies beat the Atlanta Braves 11-3 on Sunday to complete a four-game sweep.
