The Paul Finebaum Show and the SEC Now studio set will make their first trip to Carolina Stadium in Columbia, SC on Friday, April17 surrounding the No. 4 Vanderbilt at South Carolina baseball game with onsite studio programming. Traditional powerhouse programs, the two teams hold three of the last five NCAA Division I Baseball National Championship titles between them.

Matt Kuchar Kicks Off RBC Heritage

RBC Heritage defending champion Matt Kuchar got things started today at the RBC Heritage in Hilton Head, SC. Kuchar hit a ceremonial tee shot accompanied by the firing of a cannon to open the golf tournament.

Gators Sweep Gamecocks

Florida jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the second inning and scored in six of eight innings at the plate on the way to a 12-2 win over 20th ranked South Carolina on Sunday afternoon. The 10th ranked Gators improve to 28-9 and 9-6 in the SEC while the loss drops Carolina to 23-14 and 6-9 in league play.

Clemson Comes Back To Win Series At BC

Clemson rallied from a 3-1 deficit with three runs in the fifth inning and two runs in the seventh inning in its 6-3 victory over Boston College on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers, who won the series 2-1, improved to 18-18 overall and 9-9 in the ACC. The Eagles fell to 16-18 overall and 6-11in ACC play.

Gators Win 12-5, USC Drops 4th Straight SEC Series

South Carolina senior first baseman Kyle Martin hit for the cycle but 10th ranked Florida belted out 13 hits on the way to a 12-5 win over the 20th ranked Gamecocks on Saturday night at McKethan Stadium. Florida is now 27-9 and 8-6 in the SEC with South Carolina now 23-13 and 6-8 in league play.

Rucker Catches TD, Spurrier Pleased With Spring Game

South Carolina fans had their first chance to watch the Gamecock football team in action at Williams-Brice Stadium Saturday afternoon, as the team held its annual Spring Game. The Black team would come away with the 14-13 win after scoring in the waning seconds on a pass from Michael Scarnecchia to Terry Googer.

The Garnet team used some big plays in the passing game to open the scoring on the game’s very first drive. Led byConnor Mitch at quarterback, the offense went 70 yards on four plays. Mitch set up the touchdown with a 42-yard completion toJerell Adams. The team then turned to its secret weapon to convert, with Mitch hitting country music star Darius Rucker in the weak-side corner of the end zone for the 7-0 lead.
