Presbyterian Edges Clemson 5-4

Glen Casaceli’s two-out single in the ninth inning scored Brandon Martin and Guy Casaceli to break a 3-3 tie in Presbyterian College’s 5-4 win over Clemson at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Wednesday night. The Blue Hose improved to 17-12, while the Tigers dropped to 14-14.

16 Gamecocks Get Chance At Pro Day

The University of South Carolina held its annual Pro Day on Wednesday on a picture-perfect day in Columbia. Sixteen draft-eligible former Gamecocks showcased their skills to scouts representing 28 of the 32 NFL teams.

A.J. Cann Pro Day

Outgoing Gamecock offensive guard A.J. Cann admits he won’t be happy if he doesn’t go in the first round of the NFL draft.

Cann, the highest-rated prospect of this year’s USC class, is projected as a late-first or second round pick.

Mike Davis Pro Day

Outgoing Gamecock running back Mike Davis thinks a faster 40 yard dash time at USC’s Pro Day Wednesday helped his NFL draft stock.

Davis, who ran a 4.61 at the NFL combine, ran unofficial 40 times of 4.38 and 4.45 at Williams-Brice Stadium Wednesday.
