Clemson Football Gets Back To Work

Clemson returned to the practice fields Monday afternoon, the squad’s first workout in 12 days. The team scattered to sites around the country along with the rest of the Clemson student body for Spring Break a week ago last Friday. But, the team reported back for an evening meeting Sunday and was ready to go on Monday for the seventh team practice of the 15 Spring sessions.

Gamecocks Head To Coastal

South Carolina (18-6) closes out a four-game road swing at Coastal Carolina (17-6) on Tuesday night. First pitch is 6 p.m. The game can be heard live on the Gamecock IMG Network including flagship station, 107.5 FM, “The Game.”

USC Avoids Sweep At Missouri

Fifth ranked South Carolina fought back from an early three-run deficit and behind a 14-hit attack defeated Missouri 7-5 on Sunday afternoon in the final game of a three-game SEC baseball series. The Gamecocks improve to 18-6 and 4-2 in the SEC with the loss dropping Missouri to 18-6 and 5-1 in league play.

Clemson Misses Out On Va Tech Sweep

Rahiem Cooper’s one-out fielder’s choice in the 12th inning scored Kyle Wernicki for the walkoff run in Virginia Tech’s 4-3 victory over Clemson Tech at English Field on Sunday afternoon. The Hokies improved to 12-12 overall and 5-4 in the ACC. The Tigers, who won the series 2-1, fell to 11-11 overall and 4-5 in the ACC.
