Carolina Crushes Clemson 68-45

Emboldened by a raucous crowd of over 11,000 fans, the South Carolina Gamecocks (6-3) earned a big win over archrival Clemson (6-4) Friday evening at Colonial Life Arena. Duane Noticewould score 14 of his game-high 19 points over the final 20 minutes, helping Carolina turn a two-point halftime deficit into a 68-45 win. The sophomore guard would nearly match the entire offensive output of the Tigers, who as a team made just five field goals and scored 15 points in the second half.

USC Women Finish Out 2014 In Minnesota

Top-ranked South Carolina plays its final two games of 2014 in Minneapolis, Minn., against Central Michigan and Liberty on Sat., Dec. 20, and Sun., Dec. 21, respectively. Both games are at 1 p.m. (ET) and will air online on Big Ten Network Plus.

Duggar Named Preseason All-American

Junior outfielder Steven Duggar (Moore, S.C.) was named a preseason third-team All-American by Collegiate Baseball on Friday. Duggar, who was recently rated the No. 27 college prospect for the 2015 draft by Perfect Game, is a career .297 hitter with 21 doubles, 66 RBIs, 40 steals and 14 outfield assists in 123 games over two seasons.
