Hillcrest Dashes Dutch Fork’s Title Hopes
D Ballenger ran for two touchdowns and Hillcrest overwhelmed defending champion Dutch Fork 47-17 for its first-ever state title Sunday.
Ballenger had a 67-yarder and added a 3-yard TD in the second half when the Rams (14-1) outscored Dutch Fork 28-0.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Freshman forward A’ja Wilson had 17 points, Elem Ibiam scored 16 on 7-of-7 shooting and South Carolina coach Dawn Staley earned her 300th career victory as the top-ranked Gamecocks beat Charlotte 82-61 on Thursday night.
Carolina Crushes Oklahoma St. 75-49
A balanced scoring effort and a suffocating defense helped guide the Gamecocks (5-3) to a 75-49 win over Oklahoma State (7-1) Saturday afternoon in their matchup in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge. The Carolina guard play dictated the game, as the five-man rotation combined to score 56 points. Duane Notice led all scorers with 20 points, his second straight 20-point effort.
